The Art Of Racing
Established more than four decades ago, the partnership between the Preakness Stakes and the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) continued with The Art of Racing, a community-wide call for entries of original, visual art that depicted the unique elements of Thoroughbred racing and the Preakness Stakes.
The winning artwork was created by MICA student Theresia Zhang and titled “Speed”. All proceeds from these items will benefit the Park Heights Renaissance.
